It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Joy Coalson of Stanaford, West Virginia, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Phillips and Winnie Halsey Phillips; her husband Charles William Coalson Jr.; and her sisters, Mary Lester and Bonnie Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Rickie Charles Coalson (Kathy Coal City), Kenneth Coalson (Susan) of Crab Orchard and Michael Coalson of Stanaford; and her sister Jo Ann Gration of Coal City. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
