With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arlene O'Dell Bays of Summersville, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2026 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Glover O'Dell and Della Agnes Arbaugh O'Dell; her husband Sam Reginald Bays of Russellville; and her brothers, William Arlington (Arlie), Ralph Henderson and Wilmer Virgil.
She is survived by: her sons, William Davis (Sarah) of Summersville, WV, Daniel Eugene (Gina) of Madison, WV and Sam Richard (Neysa) of Weston, FL.; her grandchildren, Teresa Bays Jones, Stacie Taylor (Andy), Bonnie Kroll, Brian, Sam Christopher and Edward Daniel; and her namesake Lillian Arlene Bays-Fidalgo. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-greatgrandchildren.
