With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christopher Michael Swager of Summersville, West Virginia, born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, who passed away on October 22, 2022 at the age of 41. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Kenneth Patrick Hughes, Ardys Elaine Hughes, Eithel Murray Swager and Marilyn Ruth Swager (Susie); his aunt Jennifer Louise Harris; and his uncle Thomas Wimmer.

He is survived by : his parents, James Swager and Sheila Hughes Swager (Hughes); his brother Jason Swager (Brandi); his nephew Walker Swager; his niece Ragean Swager; his aunts, Linda Burke (Bob), Lee DePaolis (Louis), Debbie Wimmer and ParLena Johnson; his cousins, Pamela, Robert, Jessica, Tommy, Patti, Patrick, Michelle, Nicholas, Katelyn, Andrea Johnson, Dominic and Tammy; his stepsiblings, Claude Jr. Sherry and Donna Jo; and his close friend Matthew Schrader (Danja).
