He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Gaylord and Lillian Harriet Rose (Perrine); his wife Violet Sharon Rose (Barnett); his sister Carol Ann Rose of Erbacon; and also Charles Keith Rose.

He is survived by : his daughters, Sharon Irene (Rose) and Pamela Ann Rose of Summersville; his grandsons, Brandon Lee Summers (Paige) of Tarpon Springs, FL and Christopher Ryan Summers of Tallahassee, FL.; his great grandchildren, Kylie Paige Summers, Abigail Grace Summers and Carter Franklin Summers; and also, Randall James Rose of Morgantown and Darrell Edward Rose of Nettie.
