It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alvin Wilson of Sutton, West Virginia, born in Gassaway, West Virginia, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Shirley Alvin Wilson and Leto Phillips Wilson; and his sister Donna Shaver Carpenter. He is survived by : his wife Flossie May Fletcher Wilson; his children, James A. Wilson, Jr. (Linda) of Webster Springs, WV and Mary Wilson Hollenbach (Mark) of Stafford, Virginia; his grandchildren, Billy Hollenbach (Joanne), Craig Wilson and Kyle Wilson; his brother Richard A. Wilson (Jan) of Buckhannon; and his niece Jeannette King (Frank). He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
