He is survived by: his sons, Theran Hyre (Kirk) of Sutton, WV and Mark (Amber Hyre) of Gassaway, WV; his stepson David Bleigh of Elgin, SC; his grandchildren, Cassie, James and Dezel Hyre; and his siblings, Ronald "Fuzz" (Janet Hyre) of Frametown, WV, Marty (Peggy Hyre) of Rock Cave, WV and Lynda Anderson of Rock Cave, WV..
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel (940 WV-20, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rock Cave Cemetery.
