He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Faye Nelson Evans and Donald Nelson Sr.; and his nephew Adam Nelson. He is survived by: Teresa Nelson, Manny Nelson, Paylo Nelson, Crystal Nelson and Micheal Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (5452 Jerry W Hwy, Switzer, WV 25647). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
