He was predeceased by: his son Eric Estep; his parents, Callie "Bunky" Walker and Virginia Walker; his siblings, Dianne Beller (Billy) and Brent Walker; and his nephew Chad Beller.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Austin Estep; his children, Jeff of Charleston, Christopher of Leon, Jennifer Williams (Carson) of Leon and Tara Hill of Seth; his stepdaughters, Melinda White of Colcord, Kathryn Harper (Jeff) of Charleston and Morgan Barnette (Jeremy) of Whitesville; his brother Michael Walker (Sally) of Sylvester; his grandchildren, Basil, Gatlin, Sarah, Courtney, Ashley, Ryland and Kynslee; and his friend Faith Ann. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
