With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Trever Mitchel Carpenter of Tallmansville, West Virginia, who passed away on February 12, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kessler Carpenter and Annie Leigh Carpenter; and his siblings, Dorsey, Denley, Olen, Benford Carpenter, Regina, Terry Carpenter and Delane Riffle.
He is survived by: his children, Mitchel Carpenter (Marquita) of Tallmansville, Travis Carpenter of Tallmansville, Angela Carpenter-Herron (Ricky) of Tallmansville and Vanessa Carpenter-Daniels (Jack) of Buckhannon, WV; his grandchildren, Rick Herron of Tallmansville, Ethan Herron (Jerika) of Tallmansville, Skyler Wood (Hannah) of Tallmansville, Valerie Wood of Buckhannon and Tonja S. Herron of Tallmansville; his great grandchildren, Briston of Tallmansville, Bryson of Tallmansville, Brantley Herron of Tallmansville and Malachi Wood of Tallmansville; and his siblings, Larry Carpenter (Christine) of Tallmansville, Eddie Carpenter (Betty) of Buckhannon, Grace Dennison of Hemlock, Elizabeth Macciorone and Sharon Carpenter of Buckhannon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
