Doris Evajean Schnopp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Evajean Schnopp of Terra Alta, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2026 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Lewis and Virginia Agnes Lewis (Wright); her husband Hubert Schnopp; her daughter Mary Adkins; her siblings, Joyce Thomas, Glendine Ringer, Evelyn Syruws, Merle Upole and Harold Lewis; and her grandchildren, Stephanie and Matthew Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Penny DeWitt (Virgil) of Terra Alta and Randy Wotring (Loretta) of Fairmont, WV; and her son-in-law Larry Adkins of Charleston, WV. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home (105 Highland Ave, Terra Alta, WV 26764). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
