It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Clayton Reckart Sr. of Terra Alta, West Virginia, who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Cletus Reckart and Hazel Jean Reckart (Wolfe); and his grandson Zachary Reckart. He is survived by: his close friend Sandra Murphy; his children, Kenneth Reckart, Jr. of Culpepper, VA, Daniel Reckart of Terra Alta, Cody Murphy (Kristy) of Springboro, OH, Vaughn Sisler of Grantsville, MD, Crystal Wiles (Robbie) of Aurora, WV and Faith Eichorn (Jimmy) of Swanton, MD; his siblings, Donald Reckart of Mt. Storm and Twila Gbur (John) of Smicksburg, PA; and his grandchildren, Clayton Reckart, Noah Reckart, Kendall Reckart, Kinsey Wiles, Adrian Wiles, Blake Reckart, Owen Reckart, Ruby Reckart, Lucy Murphy, Gabby Murphy, Harley Eichorn, Jordan Eichorn, Trinity Sisler, Alexi Sisler, Mayci Sisler and Oden Sisler.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home (105 Highland Ave, Terra Alta, WV 26764). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
