He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Blair and Betty Dotson Blair; his grandson Ethan Ryan Sincell; his siblings, Georgetta Snell and George W. Blair Jr.; and his brother-in-law Sid Hatfield.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Blair Shook (Ronny Gillman Jr.); his grandchildren, Devin Gillman of Hatfield, KY and Kayelea Gillman of Hatfield, KY; his sisters, Credie McCoy (James) of Thacker, WV., Bonnie Sue Hatfield of Thacker, WV. and Mary Ellen Blair of Thacker, WV.; and his pet Kaos. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Services (Rt. 49 Hatfield Bottom, Matewan, WV 25678). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chambers Chapel (Rt. 49 Hatfield Bottom, Matewan, WV 25678).
