He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hockom and Marilyn Hockom (Switzer). He is survived by: his wife Jane Browning; his children, Doug E. Hockom Jr. (Wendy) of Sioux City, Iowa and Carol Peters (Robert) of Sioux City, Iowa; and his sister Dixie Pedersen (Larry) of Atlantic, Iowa.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
