Brophey and Mary Appeldorn; his wife Beverly Capehart Brophey; his children, Marsha Connor (Craig), Joseph Brophey (Cara), Sue Igrec (Frank), Michael Brophey (Lisa) and Stephen Brophey (Sandy Hilbert); his sister-in-law Josie Brophey; his brother Bill Brophey (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Nicolas, Aaron Brophey, Elizabeth Connor, Caitlin Michniak, Andrew Connor, Michael Brophey, Taylor Brophey, Matthew, Samantha Brophey and Frankie Igrec.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel (607 W Carolina Ave, Chester, WV 26034). A rosary was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
