She was predeceased by: her parents, Harden Littleton Edwards and Stella Ruth Canterbury Edwards; her former husband Woodrow Wilson Spangler; her children, Timmy Spangler and Deborah Spangler Triplett; her husband Herschel Ellison; her grandson Woodrow Spangler; and her daughter-in-law Dreama Abshire Spangler.
She is survived by: her sister Stella Falvo of True, WV; her grandchildren, Jacob Spangler (Carrie) of True, WV, Jessica Rodes (Joe) of True, WV, Jeremiah Triplett (Amy) of Portsmouth and Tom Triplett (Breanna) of Albany; and her great grandchildren, Hallie, Ethan Rodes, Tommy, Dylan, Ellie and Nora Triplett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the James Chapel Church. A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
