He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raymond Fitchett Sr. and Shirley Sue Ann Fitchett (Bennett); his grandparents, Stanley and Nettie Fitchett; and his father-in-law Denzil Linton.
He is survived by: his aunt Mary; his wife Melanie Gabrielle Fitchett (Linton); his sons, John Fitchett and Jacob Fitchett (Donna); his grandson Elliot; his brothers, Robby Fitchett (Tina) and Jim Fitchett; his cousin Mike Jones (Debbie); his mother-in-law Mary Linton (Evansville); his sister-in-law Sarah Clingerman (Mark); his niece Kate; his sisters-in-law, Darla Shaffer and Sonynita Fitchett; his nephew Franklin; his brother-in-law Denzil Linton (Holly) of Canvas, WV; his nieces and nephews, Cole, Clay, Jubal and Renee Tusing (Derek); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan, Hollyn, Brooklyn and Kord; his nephew Tommy Fitchett (Ayla); and his great-niece Eleanor. He is also survived by several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bolyard Funeral Home & Cremation (79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, WV 26410). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
