It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garnet Clay of Uneeda, West Virginia, who passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Charles Clay; her parents, Buddy Griffis and Frances Griffis; her siblings, Bill, James Griffis, Loretta Petry and Alfreda Bishop; her sons-in-law, Tommy Whitmore, Danny White and Frank Bryant; and her grandson Patrick White.

She is survived by : her children, Charles (N. Ann Clay), Ann Whitmore, Ada (Ron Dolin), Guyneth White, Gayle Bryant, Mary (Jerry Thompson) and Marlene (Bill Woods); her grandchildren, Amy Brown, Jamy Whitmore, David Dolin, Danny White, Jackie Clay, Angela Smith, Franki Bryant, Elizabeth Thompson, Kristophor Clay and Ana Mcie; her siblings, Attlee (Jean Griffis) and Joan Green; and her nephew Dustin Miller. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gospel Center (224 Riverside Dr, Madison, WV 25130). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at the Boone Memorial Park.
