It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Dean Clarkson of Union, West Virginia, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Maxwell Clarkson and Sylvia Clarkson. He is survived by : his wife Jeannie Porterfield Clarkson; his children, Joy Clarkson Dunbar (Mike) of Union, WV and Jeff Clarkson (Chelsea) of Zenith, WV.; his grandchildren, Brittany, Kylie "Kallie", Lindsey Dunbar, Judd, Mac and Cora "Clora" Clarkson; his siblings, Janet Karnes, Gene Clarkson (Jenny), Richard Clarkson (Barbara), Kelvin Clarkson (Darlene) and Dennis Clarkson; and his close friends, BJ Capaldo, Larry Case, Roger Johnson, Bill Harrison, Michael Garcia, Shawn Ballard, Stacey Clarkson and Patton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
