He is survived by : his siblings, Walter Patterson, Carl Patterson of Union, WV, James Patterson of Columbus, OH and Pricilla Patterson of Columbus, OH; his wife Carol Chapman Lewis of Union, WV; and his children, Vanedra Mustain (Neel) of Pickaway, WV, Herman Lewis, Jr. of Union, WV, Jeff Lewis (Chrystal) of Peterstown, WV, Brian Lewis (Ruth) of Union, WV, Avery Lewis of Union, WV and Corey Lewis (Katrina Wade) of Union, WV. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
