He was predeceased by : his father James Holcomb, Sr.; and his step-father Harry "Stork" Thomas. He is survived by : his mother Kathy Burns Thomas (Bobby); his wife Michelle Holcomb; his children, Connor, Peyten, Ryland and Isabella (Dylan); his grandchildren, Paisley Layman and Preston Layman; his pet Scruffy; his sister Jennifer Whitaker (Jarrod); his siblings-in-law, Charles Brooks, Shaun Brooks, Jennifer Brooks and Melissa Quick; and his nieces and nephews, Caylann Cox, Kelli Lephew, Chelsea Blevins (Justin), Caleb Lephew, Dylan Whitaker, Clayton Quick (Megan) and Coleton Quick. He is also survived by five great-nieces, a great nephew, cousins, and friends.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Groves-Mann Funeral Home P.O. Box 212 Union, WV 24983 to assist with expenses.
