She was predeceased by : her parents, John R. Sawyers and Mattie B. Johnson Sawyers; and her husband Louis Marion Jennings, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, James Jennings (Lisa) of Greenville, WV, Marion Forrester (Jonathan), Richard Jennings (Shelby) of Waiteville, WV and Kimberly Basham (Mark) of Vinton, VA; her grandchildren, Angela Chernauskas (John) of Union, WV, Brandon Jennings (Tina) of Mishawaka, IN, Ryan Jennings of Greenville, WV, Jade Forrester of Marietta, GA, Louis Morgan, Ashley of Vinton, VA, Heather Kornegay (Justin) of Raleigh, NC and Emily Hylton (Josh) of Roanoke, VA; her great grandchildren, AJ, Shannon, Maddie, Penelope June and Avery; and her friend Linda Wilson of Union, WV.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She contributed to fund raising and physically assisted donors as they participated in the donation process at the local blood mobile.
