It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Smith of Upper Tract, West Virginia, who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Betty shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Betty farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kennie Oliver Lough and Leona Catherine Greenawalt Lough; and her sister Shirley Borror. She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Smith (Jennifer) of Upper Tract and Larry Smith (Julie) of Upper Tract; and her grandchildren, Megan Anne Smith and Branson Tyler Smith.
