He was predeceased by : his son Edward George (Mabel McGee George); his wife Delia "Jeanette" Shreve George; his son Raymond Earl; and his siblings, Ronald, Tom, Margaret, Phillis and Harriett "Tippy".

He is survived by : his children, Evelyn George of Talbott Community, William "Bill" George (Susan) of Kingsville and Joseph "Joe" George (Lisa) of Cassity; his grandchildren, Lisa Conniff (John) of Talbott Community, Seth George (Leah), Sabrina George (Justin), Devin and Dustin George; his great grandchildren, Garrett, Sydney Conniff, Alexis, Berkley, Eden, Brooklynn and Gavin George; his great great grandchildren, Merikh and Hayley; and his siblings, Everett, Donald George and Wanda "Jake" Watson.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services (158 Meadow Ln, Valley Bend, WV 26293). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
