He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Shilling and Julia Shilling (Wallace); his wife Merle Lee Shilling (Custer); his son C. Murray Shilling; his grandson Anthony Allen "Tony" Viola; and his sister Joyce Jasko.
He is survived by : his children, Bob Shilling, Jr. (Sharon), Karen Shilling-Darago (David) and Jody Klug (Bill); his grandchildren, Bill Higgins, Vinnie Viola, Corey Klug (Kat), Joseph Klug (Alyssa Sonnefeld), Garrett and Adeline Shilling; his great grandchild Robert John Klug (RJ); his daughter-in-law Tracey Mehlman; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Bonar and Suzanne Custer; and his cousin Garnell Butler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
