Robert Lindsay Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2025, at the age of 78, Robert Lindsay of Valley Head, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Lindsay and Lola Pearl Hamrick; his son Robbie Lindsay, Jr.; his sister Lola Sharp; and his nephews, Virgil Allen Lindsay and John Linday, Jr..

He is survived by: his daughter Angela Lindsay Schoolcraft (Kenneth) of Marlinton; his granddaughter Sarah Faith Simmons (Matthew McCune) of Valley Head; his great grandchild Oaklynn Reneigh McCune; and his siblings, Willie, Billie, Tom, Stan, John Lindsay, Louise "Tiny", Della Mae, Judy Ann, Darlene and Ruby.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tomblyn Funeral Home (45 Randolph Ave, Elkins, WV 26241). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
