She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilma Kovach, (Brown) and Steve Kovach, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Francis Stevens, Margaret Ann Jarrell, Elizabeth Holcomb (Eleanor), George Kovach (Mickey), Johnny Lee Kovach, Frank Edward Kovach and Steve Kovach, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Dreama Kovach of Mallory, WV and Don New of South Carolina; her grandchildren, Gregory Steven Kovach, Amber Kay Kovach, Cody Allen New and Don New, Jr.; and her brothers, Bill Kovach of North Carolina and Thomas Darrell Kovach of Gilbert, WV.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Tamcliffe Tabernacle Church (1164 Mountaineer Hwy, Verner, WV 25650). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Highland Memory Gardens (42 Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery Rd, Chapmanville, WV 25547).
