He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Ola Wilson Workman and Lonnie Levi Workman; his sons, Steve Colbert and David Colbert; his siblings, James Workman, Virgil Workman and Stella Workman; his brother-in-law Jack Gross; his sons-in-law, William Leiter and Donald Piatt; and his granddaughter Rachael Frantz.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Colbert, Laura Leiter and Lonnie Workman (Heather); his grandchildren, Christina, Kenny, Bill, Clinton, Courtney, Cierra, Caiden, Tyler, Brittany, Robert, Rebecca, Bethany, Aaron, Michelle and Samantha; and his siblings, Brenda Gross, Lillian McClelland (Barry), Dorothy Trapp, Mickey Stevenson (Chuck) and Dexter Workman (Tia). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
