With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Ann James of Vienna, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael John and Bridget Mary Crowley (Rodgers); her husband Daniel D. "Buddy" James; her daughter Lorrie Bannister; and her siblings, Margaret Peggy Crowley, Dr. Thomas John Crowley, Patrick James Crowley and Michael Barry Crowley.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela James-Perkins; her grandchildren, Trey B. Hanna, Von Lee Perkins of Annapolis, MD, Paige Elizabeth Bannister Taylor of Las Vegas, NV and Reilly Ann Bannister of Huntington, WV; her great grandchildren, Eliana Rose Taylor and Jacqueline Lorraine Taylor; and her siblings, Roger Michal Crowley and SharonRose Crowley of Santa Cruz, California..
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Memorial donations may be made in Nancy's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
