He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley M. Mason and Margaret Peters Lucas; and his brother Roger Mason. He is survived by : his wife Cynthia A. Adams Mason; and his children, Vicky Mason Akers (J. R.) of Parkersburg, Joe Mason (Trina) of Parkersburg, Alice Shultz (Steve) of Atlanta, GA, Becky Jo Corbett of Columbus, OH and Wesley Mason of Vienna, WV. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
