She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricia Ann and Donald James Sheppard Sr.; her sister Pamela Sue Shank; and her daughter-in-law Angela Meiser-Smith. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Rolland Smith Jr. (Denise), James Edward Charles Smith, Michael "Mickie" Smith (Rita) and Crystal Meeks (Byron); her granddaughter Cassandra "Cassie" Smith (Sheryl); and her brother Donald James Sheppard Jr. (Karen). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
