He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Santer (Metz); his children, Kathryn E. Santer (Charles C. Piggott) of Parkersburg and Thomas J. Santer of Vienna; and his siblings, Matthew P. Santer (Pamela), Joseph T. Santer (Barbara), Mary Katherine Post (Mark), Stephen F. Santer (Mary) and Paul M. Santer (Lucinda).
