She was predeceased by: her husband Don Springston; her parents, William Burkhammer and Dona Burkhammer (Cutright); and her siblings, Zona Timms, Elsa Queen, Verda Beachler, Roberta Springston, Betty Dean, Helen Zempel and Arnett Burkhammer.

She is survived by: her children, John Springston (Cheri) of Vienna, Gary Springston (Tammy) of Chattanooga, TN and Susan Pierce (John) of High Point, NC.; her siblings, JoAnn Burkhammer of Parkersburg and Carl Burkhammer of Weston; and her sister-in-law Carol Lang. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
