She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Staton and Emogene Staton (Prater); her husband Jack Henry Mounts; and her brother Dennis Staton. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Johnson (Tenia) of Pikeville, KY and Kevin Mounts (Anna) of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Alyssa Nichole, Jonathan Allen, Anthony Jack and Jameson Jack; and her siblings, Barbara Wood (Elmer) of Asheboro, NC, Denise Staton (O'dell) of Asheboro, NC, Sam Griffin (Marvin) of Hickory, NC and Donald Prater (Darlene) of Vulcan, WV.. She is also survived by loving neighbors and friends.
