He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leonard and Rosemary Conrad; his son John Wesley "Wes" Conrad; and his stepson Christopher Jason Davidson. He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debbie" Conrad; his children, Dawn Marie Conrad (Brandi), Carol Lucille Johnson, Debbie Davidson and David Lee Rader (Teresa); his grandchildren, Chelsea, Tyler, Garret, Aleta, Mason, Cassandra and Derick; his sister Tracy Lynn Conrad; his uncles, George Conrad (Carla) and Rusty Conrad (Marti); and his pets, Shadow, Lacey and Dakota. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
