He is survived by: his wife Janet Thayer; his children, Jennifer Kidd (Bo) of Shadyside, OH, Jospeh Thayer (Brittany) of Cowen, Jacob Thayer (Samantha) of Clarksburg, Marshall Snyder of Weston and Ben Snyder (Caroline) of Morgantown; his siblings, David Thayer (Dona Dyer), Karen Webb (Phil), Mary Sue Thayer and Barbara Snyder (Bill); and his grandchildren, Henry Kidd, Holly Snyder, Milo Snyder, Emma Kidd and Silas Thayer.
