It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Marks of Walton, West Virginia, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos "Bo" Moore and Martha Moore; her siblings, Alvin, Jake, John, Walt Moore, Irene, Dorthy and Audrey; her grandson Douglas Jones; and her son-in-law David Patterson.
She is survived by: her husband K. D. Marks; her children, Navorine Patterson of Walton and Brian Marks (Kathy) of Walton; her grandchildren, Beth Marks, Briana Yates (Kody), Roy Jones and Lashia Kirk; her great grandchild Brody Yates; and her brother Larry "Buck" Moore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
