He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Morgan and Beatrice Morgan (Dugger); and the mother of his children Anita Sharader. He is survived by: his children, Jenny (Ted Payne Sr.) of Cucumber and Ronnie L. Morgan Jr. (Haley Barnett) of Warriormines; his brothers, Johnnie "Shorty" Morgan of Bluefield and James "Knuckles" Morgan of Columbus, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Ted Payne Jr., Makayla Payne, Jayden Payne and Tyson Lee Morgan. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces; many other relatives and friends.
