With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ivan J. Strawderman of Wardensville, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2026 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Strawderman and Dottie Marie Shanholtz Strawderman; his brother Earl Strawderman; and his half-sister Rose Pitcock. He is survived by: his spouse Reetta Vance Strawderman; his daughters, Kimberly D. "Kim" Swisher of Wardensville, WV and Anna M. Russell (Jonathan) of Bunker Hill, WV; his siblings, Paul of Baker, WV, Johnny Strawderman of Baker, WV, Lola Bourelle of Romney, WV, Mary Sue McFadden of Needmore, PA, Judy Reel of Fisher, WV and Bonnie Funk of McConnellsburg, PA; and his grandchildren, Andrew "AJ" Swisher, Christopher Russell, Brianna Russell, Natalie Swisher, Katelyn Swisher and Alexander Russell.
