He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha Lewis and Francis "Floyd" Pierce; his parents-in-law, Dana and Betty Conrad; his siblings-in-law, John McNemar and Patricia Yoho; and his nephews, Christopher Pierce, David Scott McNemar, Otha Clark Pierce (Sally) and Delbert Pierce.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughter Ashley (Josh); his grandson Walter; his brother Steve Pierce (Jan); and his sister-in-law Sue McNemar. He is also survived by 6 nephews, 2 nieces, and several great nieces and nephews.
