It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Allen Fought of Washington, West Virginia, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry J. Fought and Betty George Fought; his son-in-law Lt. Colonel Todd D. Thomson; his nephew Michael Pegg; and his sisters-in-law, Jenny Belcastro and Joane Steele.

He is survived by: his wife June Ann Beckett; and his sisters, Linda Church (Gerald) of Parkersburg, WV and Cherrie Cowan (Vernon) of Parkersburg, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
