David Clark Hyre Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Clark Hyre of Washington, West Virginia, who passed away on November 12, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hyre and Betty Ward Hyre; his brothers, Frank and Mike Hyre; and his granddaughter Megan Hyre.

He is survived by: his wife Tonya Hyre; his stepdaughter Kelsi Mercer; his grandson Mason Ewing; his former wife Vickie Hyre; his children, Jody Johnson (Tony Burdette) and Aaron Hyre; his grandchildren, Darin Johnson (Harlie), Ryan Johnson (Meredith Muller) and Braxton Parsons; his great grandchildren, Braydon Webb and Sunny Johnson; his siblings, Becky Lowe (Mark), Estelle Fulmer (Pat) and Donald Hyre (Rosemary); and his close friend Tom Welker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
