It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Sturm of Washington, West Virginia, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Okey Woodrow Sturm and Ruth Geraldine Sturm (Smith-Jones); and his siblings, Patricia Michaels (Sturm), Judith Adams (Sturm) and Dr. Philip Sturm.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sturm (Parnell); and his daughters, Christina and Kathryn. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to either the Christian Relief Fund, or to Love and Care Assisted Living in Parkersburg.
