It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Thomas of Washington, West Virginia, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Thomas and Stella Mae Peacemaker Thomas; his daughter Jacquiline Stevens; his grandson Ronalds Wines III; and his sister Joyce Watterson (Beverly Wakulchik).
He is survived by: his wife Hettie Jo Petticord Thomas; his children, Theresa Greenwell, Debra Wingrove, Jodi Rice (Scott) and John Thomas; his brothers, Fred Thomas and Keith Thomas; and his grandchildren, Thomas Wingrove, Bridget Wines Laferty, Gillian Thomas, Kinsey Thomas, Jaxson Thomas, Cameron Rice and Cooper Rice (Emma). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
