He was predeceased by: his father Winfred Rankin; his wife Laura Kerns Rankin; his son Ralph 'Edward Rankin; and his sister Betty Jo Winter. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy; his son-in-law Scott Clarkson; his granddaughters, Whitney Snyder (Brad) and Lauren Withers (Nathan); his great grandchild Riley Snyder; his close friend Mae Cummings; his siblings-in-law, Ann Pursley (Creed), James, Donnie and William Kerns (Judy); and his friends, Sonny, Kathy Morehead, Red and Joyce Casto. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; special niece.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ralph's memory to the Lubeck Volunteer Fire Department.
