It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Earl Lucas Sr. of Washington, West Virginia, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lucas and Geneva Lucas; his wife Sheila Ann Stephens Lucas; his siblings, Mae Pryor and Ray Mearl Lucas; his daughter Tamara G. Lucas; and his grandson Cameron Royce Lucas.
He is survived by: his children, Julie L. Nutter (Russ) of Belpre, OH, Sue L. Leroux of Woodward, OK, Cathy Baena of Murietta, CA, Christina Brennell of Norfolk, VA, Robert H. Lucas (Pam) of Washington, WV and Roy E. Lucas Jr. of Norfolk, VA; his siblings, Delores Jackson, Pauline Thorn, Barbara Vance, Fay Sheets, William "Bill" Lucas, Ron Snyder and Don Snyder; and his grandchildren, Rusty Nutter, Codie Nutter, Matthew Lucas, Camdyn Lucas, Kristi Lucas, Kassie Lucas, Mikah Jo McIntyre, Madison Florence and Kenzi Lucas. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
