He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. McPherson and Tenna Pflazgraf McPherson; his wife Maxine Lowther McPherson; and his siblings, Thelma Miller, Selesta McPherson, Alma Byrd, Carl A. McPherson, Ralph L. McPherson, Harry C. McPherson and Eugene W. McPherson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darlene R. Hofmann (Bob) of Washington, WV, Brenda K. Tyree (Randall) of Washington, WV and Deidra R. Bodge (Steve) of Washington, WV; his grandchildren, Aaron M. Hofmann (Kate), Marsha L. Bolinger (Cliff), Ryan M. Tyree (Lori), Amber M. Shears (Randy), Megan N. Dillaman (Ben) and Eric S. Bodge (Mackenzie); his great grandchildren, Eli, Etta, Wren, Violet, Margo, Saylor, Barrett, Carson, Noah, Willow, Camille and Peter; and his caregivers, Diane Watkins, Gloria Hall, Hope Britton, Sharon McGraw and Michelle Smith.
