He is survived by: his children, Jeff Smith (Yvonne) of Washington, Mike Smith (Terry) of Washington, Tim Smith (Christina) of Belleville, Terri Hertz (Jimmy) of Washington and Jody Smith (Wendy) of Washington; his grandchildren, A. J., Katie, Tommy, Olivia, Anna, Emily, Natalie, Judd, Abby, Caroline and Brandy; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Dalton, Jaxon, Brody, Gracie and Violet; his sister Nina Allman of Mineral Wells; his sister-in-law Betty Smith of Parkersburg; his siblings, Lena Thompson, Betty Skinner, Opal Gates, Everett Smith and Ireta McCoy; and his great grandchild Brendan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101).
