In the vast expanse of eternity, Burnie Roger shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Burnie Roger farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Beecher and Nannie Asbury Crabtree. He is survived by: his wife Paula Hope Nelson Crabtree of Wayne; his daughter Anita Thompson (Bobby) of East Lynn; his grandchildren, Stephanie White (Derrick) and Robert Thompson (Rebecca); his great grandchildren, Griffin and Reece White; his sister Sally Whitt (Rod); his nephew Alex Whitt (Melanie); his niece Amy Westcott (Scott); and his mother-in-law Joyce Nelson. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
