She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Maynard and Flora Maynard; and her siblings, Leo Maynard, E. J. Maynard, Ken Maynard, Doralene Clark and Alma Clark.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Simms (Gene Simms) and Denise Jean Maynard (Roy Aksdal); her grandchildren, Stephen Simms (Liza Simms), Matthew Simms (Billie Simms), Mackenzie Hunter and Dani Hunter; her great grandchildren, Reece Simms, Maggie Simms, Dylan Sargeant, Erica Sargent, Marissa Chavez, Alex Simms and Cassie Netz; and her siblings, Wilford Maynard (Linda Maynard), Ronald Maynard, J. W. Maynard (Louise), Carol Sue Mills and Sharon Kay Belcher. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Morris Funeral Home (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery.
