She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Hale and Lula Hale; and her sister Judy Kay Bloss. She is survived by : her husband Robert P. Chiera; her sons, Larry D. Adams (Celine) of Ukiah, CA and Anthony R. Adams (Tina) of Danville; her grandchildren, Amelia of Ukiah, Liam of Ukiah, Annie Adams of Ukiah, Haley of Vale, NC, Addison Adams of Vale, NC, Axton "A. J." of Danville, Lula Grace Adams of Danville, Alexis Marie Whaley (Russell) of Dothin, AL and Christopher Prescott (Chelsea) of San Antonio, TX; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Lannie and Anna; her siblings, Joann Booth (Larry) of Wayne, Ramona Sue Leslie (Donald) of Prichard, WV and Raymond Hale Jr. (Connie) of Wayne; her stepson Robert Chiera Jr. (Denise) of Poquoson, VA; and her stepgrandchild Ashley David (Aaron) of Lynchburg. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson Tiller Funeral Home (10030 WV-152, Wayne, WV 25570). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
